NEXT LEVEL

HH Catamarans' newest 66, 'Nala', launched this month in Xiamen. HH66-03 is the lightest 66 to date, and sports a taller mast and longer longeron than her previous sisterships. Nala will be headed for the Caribbean later this winter, with a packed itinerary that includes a number of regattas. We can't wait to see what this yacht will do on the racecourse! Sea trials are complete and the yacht is being prepared for shipping to the US. Check out a quick clip of Nala flying a hull, and keep an eye on our Facebook page for behind-the-scenes looks as the world's newest and, quite possibly, most turbocharged luxury cruising cat makes her way home.

CARIBBEAN BOUND

After crushing the competition at the Multihull Cup in Mallorca in September, HH66-01 is looking forward to continuing the trend in the Caribbean this winter. Adding to the excitement, HH66-03 will be joining the action as well. We can't wait to see the 66s lined up against the notoriously competitive high performance multihull fleet. First up on the schedule is the Caribbean 600, in which R-SIX will face the always formidable Elvis, followed by the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, where at least seven high flying performance cruising cats are expected to duke it out over three days of racing. Hold on to your hats people, this is going to be fun! Make sure to stay tuned to Facebook, where we'll bring you live action from every event.

STACKING THE ROSTER

We are excited to introduce HH Catamaran's newest recruit, Thomas Jonsson. Thomas brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to his new position as HH55 project manager. Tom's 30-year career has spanned the globe and included a multitude of roles including captain, engineer, owner's rep and project manager. Thomas has tackled all aspects of boatbuilding including mechanical and electrical system design and installation, composite work, joinery and rigging. He's worked on extensive projects, including the refits of the Tango 60, 'Martha Mercedes' and the super yacht 'Mari Cha III', and three semi-custom new builds of luxury yachts ranging from 60 to 100 feet. Tom's vast experience equates to an almost-innate understanding of boatbuilding methods and a keen appreciation for quality workmanship. Tom's high standards and project management skills are complemented by his on-water acumen. Alongside commissioning skipper Chris Bailet, Tom will play a role in commissioning, delivery and warranty service as the HH Catamaran fleet continues to grow.
