SUMMER SOLSTICE

Summer is officially in full swing and we are enjoying time on the water while gearing up for a busy few months ahead. Our first HH44, HH60, and HH88 are all nearing launch, and the Fall boat show season is just around the corner.

Read on for updates from the yard and beyond, and please click here to inquire about any of the models featured below or to schedule an appointment to meet with our team at an upcoming show.

BOAT SHOW SEASON IS APPROACHING

We are very excited to announce that our HH44-01 will make its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 12-17. This will be the first time the HH44 has been shown to any outside customer and will be hot off the transport ship just before the show begins. Depending on our dock space at the show, we intend to conduct sea trials of our hybrid EcoDrive system in the evenings, and a proper sea trial in the days after the show. We expect our appointment calendar to fill fast, so please make an appointment by reaching out to us soon.

Our next show will be the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis, October 12-15, where we will be showing the striking red HH44-02. This will be the first time the HH44 will be shown in the US, and again we expect the calendar to fill up fast. Please click here to secure your time onboard today!

H44 DEVELOPMENT

In case you missed it, Jason and Nikki Wynn have arrived at the yard to check in on their new sailing home, HH44-OC, Curiosity II, and their excitement is palpable. When they arrived the yacht had just gone into our state of the art paint booth that filters out all particulates for the best possible finish, but also washes out the VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) to help protect the air quality. They've been impressed with the living spaces, systems installation and fit and finish, and we share their excitement for what's to come. If you're not already following along with the Wynns, click here to watch their initial impressions of the new boat.

HH50-SC SYNERGY & HONEY RYDER LAUNCH

We've launched two new HH50s since our last email blast. One was delivered by professional crew to Australia while the other was shipped to southern Florida. The Australian yacht 'Synergy' became the first HH to sail in Australian waters, and our local agents at Multihull Central have created a great video series about the yacht. You can click here for a sailing teaser and here for a detailed interview and walk through with Gary, the owner. As for Honey Ryder, yes, this is hull 007 and it is painted a striking shade of blue, that pairs nicely with the sleek, black biminis. You can follow the adventures of this new boat on their Instagram page by clicking here. We wish both new owners a lovely cruising season ahead and we thank them for letting us share their beautiful new yachts with other interested HH customers.

HH52 DESIGN UPDATE

The new HH52 has sprung into production and the first four boats are underway. You can watch a new video series about the development process of this boat on YouTube by clicking here. The first video details how the HH52 was conceived, and the second video covers the forward cockpit model and explains why we are one of the few catamaran companies offering it. Are you team aft helm, or forward helm? Let us know in the comments and click here to request in-depth specifications, pricing, and more.

HH60 HITS THE TEST POOL

Yet another new model for HH Catamarans, HH60-01 splashed in the test pool in a beautiful shade of fuchsia in May. We use the test pool to confirm the yachts float on their lines before the final fit out, as well as to commission the systems that require seawater intake. We also test the various displacement levels by adding strategically placed barrels of water to mimic the weight of the mast, sails, rigging and any other foreseen additions. It’s all part of the construction process at HH, and every boat we produce spends a few weeks in the test pool in preparation for delivery. For more information on the HH60, click here.

HH66 NEMO CRUSHES THE CARIBBEAN SEASON

HH66 Nemo put on quite a show this spring in the Caribbean, flying past the competition at two international regattas and taking line honors in nearly every race, finally securing 1st place overall at Les Voiles de St. Barths. We loved seeing the clips come in from Caribbean locals, cruisers and other race participants, like the above video by our friends at Everyday Saturday. Nemo has been optimized for performance and is perhaps the fastest cruising catamaran in the world. We're so happy to see her making her mark on the racing scene and can't wait to see what's in store next. Want to get in on the action? We can build your custom HH66 to a similar spec, drop us a line to learn more.

HH88 ROLL OUT

To say we have been busy the last couple of months would be an understatement. The largest HH built to-date was launched into HH Catamarans' new on-site marina, using a custom built launching cradle. Both were built with the launch of this magnificent vessel in mind, and it was an exciting moment for our entire team to see the boat floating after three plus years of hard work bringing the project to fruition. The HH88 is the world’s second largest all carbon fiber catamaran and the largest in terms of interior volume. This new yacht has been well document by the owners, who run an informative YouTube channel, Sketch to Sea. We invite you to check it out to watch the launch and follow their progress as the boat nears completion.

WE'RE HIRING

As HH Catamarans expands to new levels and locations, including our newly opened production facility in Cebu, Philippines, we are on the lookout for new team members. If you are a boat builder or a naval architect that would be willing to relocate to the Philippines, please contact us by clicking here. We would love to hear from you!
